This plan describes our approach to measuring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, our 'Net Zero Commitment'. The current estimate covers selected activities and does not represent a complete organisational footprint. We will update this plan as fuller activity data becomes available.
Commitment and growth
TruV Group Limited commits to working towards net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 at the latest. As a growing software business, our absolute emissions may increase as staff, customers and cloud demand grow. We undertake to measure and disclose those changes, use proportionate efficiency measures, and set interim targets once a reliable baseline is established.
Reporting boundary and present limitations
This plan covers TruV Group Limited’s UK operations. Our current assessment is based on 2026 activities and does not represent a complete annual footprint. We are gathering information on energy use in premises managed by third parties and on other relevant indirect emissions. Unmeasured sources are not recorded as zero.
Initial 2026 activity estimate
Based on activity information currently available, selected business travel and temporary accommodation in 2026 are estimated at approximately 0.4 tonnes CO₂e in total. This figure is rounded and uses the relevant 2026 UK Government travel factor and an accommodation proxy where direct energy data was unavailable.
Baseline and latest reporting position
We have not yet established a complete baseline or latest annual footprint across Scope 1, Scope 2 and the required Scope 3 categories. The estimate above relates only to selected activities and must not be read as a whole business total. We will obtain activity data, use documented estimates where suitable, and publish revised figures with the reporting period and method identified.
Actions during contract delivery
Our planned measures are to manage cloud capacity and idle resources, use remote meetings where practical, record business travel by mode and distance, obtain energy and waste information, and monitor emissions per deployment alongside absolute emissions. A director will review our methods and progress at least annually.
